Design Proposal

I proposed 3 different designs – one black-based, and two cream-based designs. Tablet & Mobile versions were also created for each design on Adobe Xd.

Layout Description

After the client had expressed interest in the second design, I wrote a layout description that gave insight to the content they could feature within each section, and interactive elements as well.

Website Execution

As this was one of the first few websites I built from scratch over a basic framework, I encountered a couple of hurdles when it came down to actually writing the code.

In particular, the animating of the transition of the white-based (for dark background) logo & menu panel on the left to a dark-based one (for light background), and then disappearing when the user reaches the footer, had me befuddled for a while.

Building and publishing this website was a really memorable experience as I gained valuable skills such as deep etching photos on Photoshop, migrating a website from a staging site over to a new domain, working with a framework and Javascript libraries.
